I liked this book and would recommend it to horse lovers, but there are a couple of traumatic (to me) scenes involving horses - so I feel a warning is warranted. The God of Animals by Aryn Kyle tells the story of Alice Winston, whose life on her family's Colorado horse farm is disrupted when her older sister runs off to get married.
